First of all I would just like to start off by saying that I thought that this article was really boring. I felt like this was more of a history lesson than an English essay. I don’t know if it’s just because I’m not a very smart person, and so I don’t like learning about smart things or what it is? But for whatever reason I didn’t like it!
The essay talked a lot about how other countries don’t like us and therefore they plan and implement terrorist attacks on us. I feel like this has been going on since America became an established country. But as I was reading a few other people’s blogs they seemed shocked by this, and acted like it was new information. I didn’t get that at all. Ever since America broke away from England, or at least I think that is the country they split from, they have been hated. America has been hated for many reasons, one of which is because it has been so prosperous.
These are just a few of my thoughts on the essay. Maybe I’m wrong, but this is what I got from it.
